  1. This was a great post; one that should resonate with us writers. So many times, we consume ourselves with where we want to be and what success is like that we forget about the journey to become a writer. We forget that there are pitfalls along the way, as well as moments of clarity and inspiration.

I sometimes forget that. I let fear hold me back from going on the journey, wondering if I have what it takes to be a good writer. But I need to write to see where the path takes me. Otherwise, I am wasting my time and talent. Sometimes, it is a dead end, but it can be worth it, observing and recording all that there is to discover.

As I begin my new blog, my hope and dream is to take in as many readers as I can along with me as I proclaim my title as a writer and give them perspective to who I am.

    1. Shame on me – and apologies to you George. I missed replying to your gracious comment.
Fear stops us all from pursuing our dreams. Every writer in the history of the world has doubted their ability to write.
And the truth is – yes, sometimes we are going to write crap. Or we think it is – then discovered other people thought it was wonderful and inspiring.
Follow your heart, always. Just write. It really is that simple. :) Thank you George. I am so happy we connected. Just the other day I was trying to remember where we “met” online. Perhaps you remember? I like to keep track of these things :)
