Poetry, Structured Poetic Form

Blueshift – Haiku String

Raindrops on my lips,
sun hidden behind the clouds,
Trees wave as I pass.

Night brings discontent,
yet never in the shadows,
The moon brightens me.

Looking to the sky,
a whisper goodnight from you,
Your stars call my name.

Feeling our center,
my eyes adoring yours,
Hold my heart sacred.

Eyes weep upon silk,
sleepless night falls once again,
Blueshift dreams of us.
